Construction and evaluation on separate population from sugarcane.

Separate population is an important premise condition for gene discovery.Evaluating quantitative trait and molecular marker data of separate population could provide valuable knowledge for the construction of genetic map and gene location.In order to learn genetic variance,frequency distribution of F1 population(commercial variety Co419×wild species Y75/1/2),the yield trait(stalk number,kg/stalk,height,diameter and yield/hm2) and sugar trait(pol in juice,brix and commercial content of sugar) were analyzed with statistical software.At the same time,505 molecular markers from 12 AFLP and 36 SSR primers were tested by χ2.The result showed all quantitative traits distribution belonged to normal distribution which were controlled by polygene,and they were very rich in the genetic variance.179 single dose markers and 82 double dose markers were got,which made up 52 % of all markers;24 AFLP and SSR primer could get more single dose marker and double dose marker,which were high efficient PCR primer.The study indicated F1 population were fit to separate population for genetic map and gene location,and these single dose markers and double dose markers will provide important value for genetic research.
