Optimization of Ultrahigh Pressure Extraction Technology of Baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis by Box-Behnken Design

Objective:To optimize ultrahigh pressure extraction(UPE) process of baicalin from Scutellaria baicalensis by Box-Behnken design.Method:With yield of baicalin as index,influence of extraction pressure,extraction times,liquid-solid ratio and other factors on UPE of S.baicalensis was investigated by single factor test;Box-Behnken design was employed to optimize extraction technology parameters with ethanol concentration,liquid-solid ratio and extraction pressure as independent variables.Result:Optimum extraction technology conditions were as following:extracted 10 s with 100 times the amount of 72% ethanol by extraction pressure of 100 MPa,yield of baicalin was 102.65 mg·g-1.Conclusion:Optimized technology had higher yield,lower extracting temperature,shorter extacting time and less power consumption,it was suitable for industrial production of S.baicalensis.
