ДОВУЗІВСЬКА ПІДГОТОВКА В СИСТЕМІ БЕЗПЕРЕРВНОЇ ПРОФЕСІЙНОЇ ОСВІТИ

the process of forming of the system of pre-university training in Ukrainian technical universities during the XX century was investigated. The forms and methods of organizing of the prospective students training have been analyzed taking into account the peculiarities and requirements of technical education. Based on of studying the experience in the organization and management of pre-university training of higher technical institutions of Ukraine, a structural-logical model of pre-high school training was proposed. Various aspects of the pre-university training of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” were illustrated. The component of the pre-university and distance education center of NTU “KPI” is such a unique structural unit as the elite schools that were created at the specialized faculties. The activity of the elite school, which was established at the electrical faculties and aimed at preparing for entering and facilitating the process of adaptation to the conditions of higher education institutions, was considered. Gained during the fifteen years at the elite school experience in the preparing and adapting students to education has proved that pre-university training is an effective part of a continuous system of training of highly qualified specialists.
