2019
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of authentic leadership on leader trust and psychological ownership and the mediated effects of LMX on the relationship between authentic leadership and leader trust and psychological ownership. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of leaders' trust on their trust and their supervisor's psychological ownership by conducting an empirical analysis. As a result, first, authentic leadership has a significant positive relationship with cognitive trust and emotional trust, which are sub-factors of leader trust. Second, cognitive trust and emotional trust, which are sub-factors of leader trust, showed a positive relationship in all positive variables such as self-identity, belonging, and responsibility, which are sub-variants of psychological ownership. Third, cognitive trust, authentic leadership, and subordinate factors of psychological self-consciousness, self-identity, and sense of belonging were found to be completely mediated. Emotional trust was partially mediated between responsibility, belonging, and identity, which are sub-factors of psychological ownership. Fourth, LMX has a negatively moderated-mediation effect of self-identity, sense of belonging, and responsibility, which are sub-factors of leader trust and psychological ownership. As a result, it was confirmed that the leader trust of members is the main variable between subordinate variables of authentic leadership and psychological ownership. Therefore, in corporate organizations, since leaders exercise authentic leadership, it is more important for employees to build trust in their bosses, giving them stronger psychological ownership.
