Four Immunosuppressive Viral Diseases of Chickens

Avian leukosis,infectious bursal disease,chicken infectious anemia and reticuloendotheliosis were very common diseases which can induce immune suppression in chickens.The mixed infections which lead to the failure of immunization against avian influenza and newcastle disease with the immunocompromised state in chickens was ubiquitous on some of the chicken farm in China according to related reports on the serological investigation and molecular biological diagnosis.It was difficult to diagnose and prevent diseases when secondary infection occurred.The recent research progress on the mechanisms of these four kinds of common chicken viral immunosuppression,epidemic situation,laboratory diagnostic technology and other aspects were reviewed in the paper.
