Sir Clifford Paterson, O.B.E., F.R.S

SIR CLIFFORD COPLAND PATERSON, director of the Research Laboratories of the General Electric Co., Ltd., Wembley, died at the Watford Peace Memorial Hospital on July 26, shortly after returning from Australia, where he had been acting as contact between British and Australian scientific bodies.
