Failure of Single Crystals Samples of Experimental Nickel Superalloy Tested to High Cycle Fatigue

The form of fatigue failure of single crystals of experimental nickel superalloy with 〈001〉 and 〈111〉 axial CGOs is studied using the fractographic method. The fracture surface of the single-crystal alloy specimens possesses a complex spatial texture. Fracture along cleavage faces of various sizes is observed.
