Оценка эффективности радиочастотной абляции доброкачественных узловых образований щитовидной железы

This study is aimed at estimating radiofrequency ablation (RFA) efficacy and comparing it to the surgical treatment of benign thyroid nodules. RFA reduced nodular volume by 70% after 6 months and it was an effective method for treating nodule-related clinical problems and hot nodules. RFA and surgery were both safe, although RFA had less complications and pain was rare. RFA may change current approach to the treatment of benign thyroid nodules.
