Cross-linking agent and preparation method and application thereof

The invention discloses a cross-linking agent. The cross-linking agent is obtained by reaction of maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin and glycidyl methacrylate; wherein, the grating ratio of maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin is higher than 5%. The invention further discloses a preparation method and application of the cross-linking agent. The cross-linking agent is polyolefin with terminal alkenyl and has good compatibility with polypropylene matrix, and crosslinking of polypropylene can be effectively promoted under the condition of irradiation. A polypropylene coating material prepared with the cross-linking agent is high in stability in later use period without producing odor.
