Disclosed is a method for generating a workflow of an image forming task, which comprises the steps of: providing a selectable list of a first function; receiving a user input selecting one first function in the first function list; providing an executable list of a second function following the selected first function by using information about output data of the first function; receiving a user input selecting one second function in the second function list; and generating a workflow which sequentially executes the selected first and second functions.
