Simulation of the air conditioning system and the vehicle interior

By linking together several programs, P+Z Engineering GmbH is able to simulate the entire car interior air conditioning process, from the air intake at the front end of the vehicle right through to the thermal design of the passenger compartment and an assessment of passenger comfort. This interconnection of separate one-dimensional and three-dimensional simulation tools requires the development of software interfaces, and in this report these are described and verified using real testing data.
