DRIVERS OF COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF CAC-GUIDED STATIN THERAPY UNDER 2019 ACC/AHA PRIMARY PREVENTION GUIDELINES

Current 2019 cardiovascular (CVD) prevention guidelines recommend statin therapy in intermediate risk patients with a family history of CAD (FH-CAD) and those above 55 years with positive coronary calcium (CAC). Recent work shows identifying subclinical atherosclerosis personalises risk and doubles
