Diagnosa dan penanganan otitis media pada kucing persia di Central Pet Care

This activity aims to diagnose and treat otitis media in Persian cats at the Central Pet Care clinic. Otitis is inflammation of the ear accompanied by pain, fever and hearing loss. Inflammation of the ear can be categorized based on the location of the inflammation. Inflammation of the outer ear is called otitis externa, inflammation of the middle ear is called otitis media and inflammation of the inner ear is called internal otitis. Otitis media can be diagnosed through history with the client, physical examination, blood tests and microscopic examination of ectoparasites to confirm the diagnosis. Otitis media is handled by using the anti-ectoparasite ivermectin, dichlorvos and trichlorvon insecticides and the use of antibiotics to prevent secondary infections.
