Preparation of monoclonal antibodies against P53 ES protein of Trichinella spiralis.

Two monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) against 53 ku of Trichinella spiralis were developed by fusion myeloma with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinatnt antigen 53 ku.Both MAbs belonged to IgM withκchain.Western blot analysis showed that both MAbs reacted with ES (53 ku) antigen and had no cross reaction with adult antigen of Schistosoma japonicum,Trichuris suis and Cryptosporidium,cyst liquid antigen of Cysticercus cellulosae and Coenurus.The MAbs reported here would be useful in study of T.spiralis and developing diagnosis kit of Trichinellosis.
