Profundidade de plantio e região do tolete no desenvolvimento inicial de genótipos de cana ("Saccharum" spp.)

EnglishThe management of stem depth in planting of sugar cane advances the quick establishment of crop in the field. The objective of this work was to known the effects of the depth planting and regions of stem in morphological characteristics that affect the initial development of different phenological cycles by genotypes of sugar cane. The experimental design was the randomized blocks, with three replications in a factorial design 3x3x2, to depth planting (15, 30 and 45cm), region of stem used in planting (basal, middle and apical) and genotypes (RB855156 and RB72454). The depth planting determined the speed of growth with emergency by shoot genotypes of the sugar cane and tillering of plant in initial development. Furthermore, in this work was found that the apical region of the stem by early genotype RB855156 was better tillering, more sprouting, an plant height in relation to late genotype RB72454 portuguesO manejo da profundidade dos toletes no plantio da cana-de-acucar promove um rapido estabelecimento da cultura no campo. O objetivo do trabalho foi conhecer os efeitos da profundidade de plantio dos toletes e regiao do tolete sobre as caracteristicas morfologicas que afetam o desenvolvimento inicial dos materiais geneticos de cana-de-acucar com diferentes ciclos fenologicos. O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos os acaso com tres repeticoes em um modelo fatorial 3x3x2, para profundidade de plantio (15, 30 e 45cm), porcao do tolete utilizada no plantio (basal, intermediaria e apical) e cultivar (RB855156 e RB 72454). A profundidade de plantio determina a velocidade de crescimento com emergencia das gemas das cultivares de cana-de-acucar e o perfilhamento da planta no desenvolvimento inicial. Alem disso, neste trabalho foi constatado que o tolete retirado da regiao apical do colmo da cultivar precoce RB855156 teve melhor brotacao, maior perfilhamento e altura de planta em relacao a cultivar tardia RB72454
