The Design of Height-hold Controller for High Altitude Airship

The problem of height-hold control for high altitude airship belongs to motion control problem in the longitudinal plane.Based on the nonlinear longitudinal equation of motion,the principle of height-hold control is analyzed.Two design schemes of height-hold controller are presented,and the two controllers are compared by using the Simulink tool of Matlab.
