Synthesis of coenzyme Q_(10) from tobacco tissue pieces in suspension culture

Taking the tissue pieces from fresh tobacco(Nicotiana tobaccum L.) leaves as research object,a method for the synthesis of coenzyme Q10 from tobacco tissue pieces in suspension culture was proposed.The effects of temperature,pH value and cultural time on the synthesis of coenzyme Q10 were investigated.In addition,the mass concentration of nicotinic acid,hydrochloric thiamine,cysteine,p-hydroxybenzoic acid and magnesium sulfate in culture solution was optimized by uniform design experiment.Under the optimal culture condition,the mass fraction of coenzyme Q10 in tobacco tissue pieces comes up to 208.09 μg/g,which is 18.7 times higher than the initial mass fraction in tobacco leaves.The proposed method for the production of coenzyme Q10 from tobacco tissue pieces in suspension culture is featured by shorter production cycle and simple operating procedure,so it is a highly efficient method for the production of coenzyme Q10.
