Magnesia aluminum roasting method

The present invention discloses a method of roasting of aluminum hydroxide, comprising: (1) prepared according to the formulation raw material raw material, raw material including aluminum, magnesium and sodium oxide precursor precursor, and optionally calcium oxide precursor; (2) the raw material is calcined at 800-1300 deg.] C, to obtain a sintered clinker; (3) the sintered clinker was eluted off the silicon, carbon and firing points, to obtain an alumina; wherein the raw material to meet the formula component oxide molar ratio of ([MgO] + [CaO]) / ([SiO2] + [TiO2]) = 0.9-1.1. The method of the present invention can maintain a high standard of alumina dissolution rate, the amount of solids discharge and consumable materials greatly reduced, and magnesium silicate as a main component dealkalized red mud can be used to produce high value-added products .
