PROJETO ALFA III UNIVERSIDADES ESTRATÉGICAS PARA PROMOÇÃO DO DESENVOLVIMENTO REGIONAL E COESÃO SOCIAL: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO DE UNIVERSIDADES DA AMÉRICA LATINA E EUROPA

The aim of this work is to show an experience of internationalization involving 07 universities in Latin America and 02 in Europe through a project funded by the European Community called ALFA III Strategic Universities, having as a coordinating institution and articulator of the joint activity, the Fundacion de la Universidad Catolica del Norte of Colombia. The project focuses on three central themes: public policies, entrepreneurship and information and communication technologies. For 03 years these universities have been working together through actions aimed at opening the institutions to the process of internationalization through integrative experiences between the institutions. The results led to concrete collaborative actions among the institutions and allowed specific international cooperation between partners.
