Vínculos que potencian: la relación entre el análisis de redes sociales (ARS) y la Etnografía Links that boost: the relationship between social network analysis (SNA) and Ethnography

This paper shows the usefulness of the methodological tools of Social Network Analysis (SNA) and its application in the field of ethnography. As well it reflects about the contributions of ethnography to SNA. A selection of current and classic ethnographic studies is analyzed, displaying examples and evaluating a possible way to solve empirical problems between theoretical and methodological fields. Management of methodological tools allows both perspectives to complement and benefit. It will show how some explorations in the area of ethnography have developed from the contributions of the SNA.
