AY KOLONLARININ AŞI VE ÇELİKLE ÇOGALTILMASI ÜZERİNE ARAŞTIRMALAR

This study was carried out in greenhause and low plastic tunnels of The Tea Research lnstute of Rize in 1987. in the study Camelia sinensis was propagated by grafting and cutting. Grafted cuttings was placed into low plastic tunnel and also cuttings was placed into low plastic tunnels and greenhouses. i n this studies Tuglali-10 and Pazar-20 tea clones were used as rootstock and Derepazari-7 and Fener-3 tea clones as scion. in cutting propagation splice grafting technique. The result of this study could be summarized as fallows; i n low plastic tunnel, the highest grafting succees was 38 % at Fener-3/Tuglali-10 cambination in December. The highest shoot growth of grafted plant also were obtained from Fener-3/Tuglali-10 combination in December. The cuttings propagation in low plastic tunnel the highest root­ ing was 92.5 % at 2 th type cutting of Fener-3 tea clone in November. i n low plastic  tunnels, the highest shoot growth was 9.52 cm and was obtained from  6 th type cuttings of Derepazari- 7 in December. i n the greenhouse studies, the highest rooting ratio was 60.O % at 2 th type cuttings of Fener-3 tea  clone in December. And  the highest shoot growth was 1O.22 cm at 1 th cutting of Derepazari- 7 tea clone in November. As a result of this experiment, wouding have increased rooting.
