Theory and Method for Evaluation of Anti-jamming Capability of Phase Modulated by Pseudorandom Code Combined with Pulse Doppler Fuze

2010
The method of ambiguity function incision is proposed to evaluate the inherent anti-jamming capability of pseudorandom code combined with pulse Doppler(Pseudo-noise pulse Doppler(PN-PD)) fuze. The incision areas of the fuse ambiguity diagrams are calculated. The inherent anti-jamming capability of the PN-PD fuze gets weaker with pulse width widening linearly. The inherent anti-jamming capability of PN-PD fuze and its improvement extent are in direct proportion to the modulated m-sequence length.Compared with the inherent anti-jamming performance of the pulse Doppler fuze,it is demonstrated that the inherent anti-jamming capability of PN-PD fuze within the range of 0.8~4.0 μs is remarkably stronger than the former one.The research results show that the evaluation methodology based on the method of ambiguity function incision can not only evaluate the inherent anti-jamming capability of the same type of fuze with different working parameters and of different types of fuzes with specified working parameters.
