Research of DFIG Wind Power Generator System Exited by Matrix Converter
2008
Combined with the characteristic of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) and the advantages of Variable-Speed Constant Frequency (VSCF) with AC-excited generation technique, matrix converter and vector control scheme, the DFIG’s vector control model was deduced and the stator flux-oriented vector controller block diagram of the VSCF DFIG was developed excited by a matrix converter. The system enables the generator to capture maximum energy at optimal speed and makes active and reactive power regulated independently. The simulation program was designed in C language and Matlab. Results indicate the good performance of this system and prove the correctness and availability of this scheme.
