Optimizing Train Plan of Express-Local Modes for Suburban Rail Transit

2019
Due to the uneven temporal and spatial distribution of passenger flow, the station-stop trains can't meet the passenger flow demand. It is of great significance to study the train plan under the Express/Local operation conditions according to the characteristics of the passenger flow in the suburbs. This paper takes the minimum passenger travel cost and the minimum operating cost of the enterprise as the optimization goal. The double targets are converted into a single target by linear normalization and linear weighting and the simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, a specific suburban line is taken as the numerical examples to verify the model and algorithm advanced in this paper. The conclusion is that: comparing to the station-stop mode, the passenger travel cost and the enterprise operation cost of the Express/Local are reduced by 2.79% and 8.31% respectively.
