First Moments Analysis for a Space Station Communication System

In order to design and value a polling-based communication system, quantitative analysis of mean queue length is a key point.No-interrupted priority queue polling mechanism with exhaustive service is applied as a channel accession policy in the communication in this paper. Based on a mathematic model, the generating function of system is deduced by imbedded Markov chain theory. Moreover, mean queue length expressions of asymmetric system are obtained explicitly via iterative algorithm on the first moments of the system, and simulation results demonstrate effectiveness of analysis.
