Research Progress of Inorganic Material Supported Chiral Mn(Salen) Catalysts

In this paper,the recent developments of inorganic material supported Mn(Salen)catalysts for epoxidation of olefins are reviewed based on the immobilization methods and varieties of the carrier.Particular attention is focused on the catalytic activity and value of enantioselectivity of Mn(Salen)catalysts supported on silica,zeolite,activated carbon and sol-gel.Some existing problems in the use of supported catalysts and the development prospect are analyzed.
