Synthesis and molecular structure of two new crystalline 6,8-dioxabicyclo[3.2.1]octanes

We endeavored to synthesize a series of crystalline 6,8-dioxabicyclo [3.2.1] octanes to provide a more complete database on the structural features of these important compounds. We report here the details of the syntheses of six of these compounds, pertinent structural data, and the results of the crystal structure work on two of them
