The invention discloses an optical terminal state monitoring implementing method. The method utilizes a DVI (Digital Video Interface) fiber channel of an optical terminal to transmit information, such as a core voltage of a receiving end mainboard, temperature values of key parts, a closed state of a case, a link connection state and the like, to a BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) daughter card inside a display control computer. When the optical terminal normally works, information of a DVI, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) and the like needs to be transferred by an optical fiber; and an RX (receiver) channel in a DVI optical fiber link only needs to transfer EDID (extended display identification data) information of a display and the RX channel is in an idle state in most time, and thus, the channel is used for transferring receiving end state information without adding other transmission channels, and cost is saved. Related information is transferred to the BMC daughter card of the display control computer, the display control computer is accessed by a network port, state information can be viewed in real time on a WEB interface, and when the optical terminal goes wrong, problem reasons can be rapidly positioned by related prompt information, and thus, the optical terminal state monitoring implementing method is convenient to operate and a system can be effectively guaranteed to normally operate.
