CYCLOTRON ECHO STUDY.

Abstract : Cyclotron resonance echoes have been explored experimentally and theoretically. The phenomenon is adequately explained in the low electron density region omega sub p omega sub c the phenomenon is more complex and quantitative results will require a deeper understanding of the resonances which are being excited in the plasma. Reprints of work associated or inspired by this study are included. A second part of this report is a brief survey of echo phenomena, in an attempt to make this effect plausible and to point out its generality in systems made up of collections of resonators. (Author)
