Storage and Management of Spatial Raster Data Based on Oracle 10g Spatial

This study investigates Oracle 10g newly added spatial raster data storage and management mechanisms including data model,management of metadata,raster pyramid and physical storage et al. A typical example of storage and management of raster data is demonstrated. Present the limitation of loading tools for raster data and propose a simple yet effective solution.
