Design of Intelligent Dispatching System for Port Gantry Crane

By designing certain traffic dispatching rules, the existing port can complete the dispatching of gantry cranes in the yard. However, if the gantry crane breaks down suddenly, the scheduling plan will be terminated and manual transportation will be returned, which will seriously affect the overall efficiency of transportation. Aiming at this phenomenon, an intelligent port gantry crane dispatching system with operation monitoring function is designed, which can compare the actual position of gantry crane with the preset position output by dispatching system in real-time, to determine the operation status of gantry crane. Remote alarm in case of sudden abnormality, and redistribution according to the transport rules, to reduce the time lost in the case of sudden abnormality. Through design rules and optimization algorithm, the system realizes the optimal assignment of three gantry cranes in one site, the conflict resolution involved in the operation of multiple gantry cranes, and the task reorganization and assignment of gantry cranes in emergencies. The GSM module, UM220 module, and the Arduino control core are connected to realize the operation status monitoring, wireless communication, intelligent alarm, and other functions of the gantry crane. Scheduling optimization algorithm of this model by MATLAB software simulation, it is concluded that the location of the gantry crane dispatching process midfield zone - time simulation diagram, proved in this paper, the software model can reasonably effective, especial on the solution of the gantry crane running the sudden failure of the conflict, can be used in the engineering of the gantry crane's condition monitoring and fault conflict resolving, Improve the overall efficiency of transportation to enhance the intelligent level of the port.
