1990
ABSTRACT Capillary GC of the essential oil of Cordia cylindrostachya Roem. & Schult. grown on Aruba showed a high content of tricyclene (ca. 58%), α-pinene (ca. 11%) and camphene (ca. 12%). The rest—about 20% of the total oil—consisted of 35 components, most of which were identified. Most of them occurred in amounts of less than 1%. The oil showed weak antibacterial and antifungal activities.
