Antinociceptive constituents of Auricularia polytricha.

Ceramide (1), cerevisterol (3β,5α,6β-trihydroxyergosta-7,22-diene) (2) and 9-hydroxycerevisterol (3β,5α,6β,9α-tetrahydroxy-ergosta-7,22-diene) (3) were isolated from the CH 2 Cl 2 extract and cerebroside (4) was isolated from the MeOH extract of the fruiting bodies of Auricularia polytricha and identified as the antinociceptive components using the acetic acid-induced writhing method.
