Non-use value research on resource environment of Sanmen Bay by contingent valuation method.

The Contingent Valuation Method(CVM) has been used to evaluate the Non-Use Value(NUV) of resource environment of Sanmen Bay.The questionnaire was constituted of "Sanmen Bay current environment","Sanmen Bay environmental protection" and "condition of interviewee".Selecting interviewees randomly such as residents,employees,officials,and teachers,300 questionnaires were sent out of which 294 were effective.The results showed that Individual Willingness to Pay(WTP) was 89.25 yuan/person·year,so got the NUV 46.32 million yuan/year,including Being Value 25.01 million yuan/year,Heritage Value 13.90 million yuan/year,Option Value 7.41million yuan/year.The reference analysis showed that,WTP referenced positively with educated degree and family income,and negatively with age(P0.05).There were different influencing factors at the ratio and amount of WTP,with composition and level of local economy respectively.In this research,the highest ratio appeared in Xiangshan county,while the maximum amount appeared in Ninghai County.
