This article introduces how fulfills the design of the cam m echanism and the motion simulation by UG software. Using the expression tool and the law curve of UG software, the cam entity can be produced precisely and fast. Using the motion simulation of UG software, the whole process of the cam mechanism can reappeared. Whether the result of the movement is consistent with the design can be examined.
