DFV Specialist Health Workforce Program Evaluation — Literature Review
2021
The Queensland Health Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Specialist Health Workforce Program was introduced to enhance the capacity of health clinicians to respond safely and appropriately to disclosures and suspicions of DFV, and to integrate health services into the broader DFV service system. Our team at The University of Queensland’s Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR-UQ) was contracted by the Social Policy and Legislation Branch in the Department of Health to develop a comprehensive evaluation plan for the Program. For this purpose, a rapid and targeted literature review of current policy documents, published academic research and unpublished documents and reports was conducted.
