Why, in spite of repeating the sentence on numerous occasions, "An image is worth more than a thousand words" aren´t we coherent, andneed to demonstrate in practice that an image without a thousand words ("mine") is nothing? Why do we have to finish many shared and enjoyed classes with a "moral" as a way of an indispensable magisterial ending? Why do we underestimate the teaching of direct and gratifying experiences that our students receive? Do teachers perhaps have "automatic buttons" with which "to begin" or "to end" satisfactorily their classes? These and other interrogative questions and practices are considered by Ms Szlifman in this article.
