Study of Harmonious Construction of Scientific Spirit and Humanistic Spirit in Vocational College

With the development of social economy, the talents competition is heating up and the demand on the vocational college graduates has grown more and more imperative. Besides the professional knowledge and skills, good psychological quality and cultural refinement are especially important. Vocational and technological education should change the educational concept of simply putting emphasis on knowledge and skills. Profes- sion and culture should also be given attention to and scientific and technological qualities and humanistic quali- ties should be united. Therefore, humanistic spirit and scientific spirit education should be intensified and bal- anced so as to cultivate students’ core competitiveness.
