Coplanar UWB monopole band notch antenna using conductor magnetic layers

This paper proposes using thin magnetic layers to make a stop band filter. The device exploits the strong absorption rate that exists at the magnetic material's ferromagnetic resonance frequency. Therefore, we demonstrate that it is possible to make filtering devices with magnetic layers, coupled with coplanar lines (CPW). Then, a UWB monopole antenna with a band notch is studied.
