Numerical simulation of phase transition “fluid–solid” in the core-shell system

The authors proposed new approaches to modeling the solid-liquid and liquid-solid phase transitions using the core-Cu-shell-Ag system as an example. It was revealed that the presence of an insignificant thermodynamically nonequilibrium state in the system is a key factor leading to the emergence and development of crystallization, which must be taken into account when modeling phase transitions.
