Sodium Carbonate Affected to Deep Dissolution Loss of Coke

2009
The paper had a study on the deep dissolution loss between the coke and carbon dioxide after the adsorption of the sodium carbonate and analyzed the adsorbed sodium carbonate formation in the coke with X-ray Diffraction(XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM).The results showed that the sodium carbonate in the coke would be Na2O in the coke after the high temperature treatment and would play a promotion role in the reaction process between the coke and CO2.With the sorption density increased, the promotion role of the sodium carbonate would be increased and the surface reaction of the coke would be more serious. The inclination rate of the deep reaction curve would be steady increased. The coke would be steady in erosion from the surface to inside and the lump size would be getting small and small.
