There is provided a superconducting coil means (1) with at least one coil winding (3) having at least a superconducting conductor (5), wherein the conductor (5) comprises at least a first contact region (7a). The coil device (1) further comprises at least a first contact piece (9a) for connecting the coil means (1) with an external circuit, wherein the first contact region (7a) of the conductor (5) via a first pressure contact (11a) to the first contact piece ( 9a) is electrically conductively connected. Furthermore, a method for producing such a superconducting coil means (1) is specified.
