Design of polarization conversion metasurface by using high-permittivity ceramics

In this paper, we design an all-dielectric polarization conversion metasurface using high-permittivity ceramics. The metasurface is composed of 2D arrays of ceramic resonators. A nearly 1 GHz polarization conversion is demonstrated in 3.68–4.64GHz. Since such polarization conversion metasurface are made of high-permittivity ceramics, they are of important values in high-temperature or high-power applications. The method can also be used to design all-dielectric polarization conversion metasurface in other frequencies.
