AnInput-Output Feedback Linearization Controller forDoubly-Fed Induction Machine Drives

2007
Inthis paperanonlinear controller ispresented for Doubly-Fed Induction Machine(DFIM)drives. Thenonlinear controller isdesigned basedon input-output feedback linearization control technique, using thefifth ordermodelof induction machine infixed stator d ,qaxisreference frames withstatorcurrents androtorfluxcomponents as state variables. Thenonlinear controller canperfectly trackthe torque andfluxreference signals. Twolevel SVM-PWM back- to-back voltage sourceinverters areemployed intherotor circuit, inordertomakethedrive system capable ofoperating inthemotoring andgenerating modesbelowandabove synchronous speed. Computersimulation results obtained, confirm theeffectiveness andvalidity oftheproposed control approach.
