Upright sand fence

The invention discloses an upright sand fence which comprises multiple connected sand-proof units, wherein each sand-proof unit comprises two sand retaining plates and a sand retaining net; the sand retaining plates and the sand retaining net are vertically arranged; in the same sand-proof unit, two sand retaining plates are positioned on the two sides of the sand retaining net; and the two sand retaining plates are positioned on the same side of the net surface of the sand retaining net and obliquely arranged relative to the sand retaining net and separately extend toward the two sides of the sand retaining net. In the invention, the movement of sand grains is hindered by a formed large-scale sand dune (or sand dune group) to achieve the aims of sand prevention and control; and the upright sand fence has the advantages of simple structure, convenience in mounting, durability and perfect protection benefit.
