Endocrine Control of the Plasma Albumin/Globulin Ratio

REVERSAL of the albumin/globulin ratio is commonly encountered in Africans in different parts of the continent of Africa. This reversal is ascribed in large measure to malnutrition and/or infection. Whatever the cause, the mechanism for this reversal still remains obscure.
