Peculiarities of Weak Shock Wave Propagation in a Gas-Liquid Foam

1995
A theoretical model of weak shock wave propagation in gas-liquid foams of different structure, and experimental investigation results are presented in the paper. It is concluded that the general influence on the evolution of the initial perturbation has been exerted by the liquid flow through the system of Plateau-Gibbs channels and the heat transfer process between carrying and dispersion phases.
