ESD detection method of array substrate

The invention provides an ESD detection method of an array substrate. A first lead wire is introduced on a first metal layer of the array substrate and the first metal layer is connected to a first test site; a second lead wire is introduced on a second metal layer of the array substrate and the second metal layer is connected to a second test site; when the array substrate generates an ESD fault, a resistance value between the first test site and the second test site is measured through a resistance detection apparatus; if the resistance value between the first test site and the second test site is positively infinite, ESD does not occur between the first metal layer and the second metal layer; if the resistance value between the first test site and the second test site is within a measurable scope, the ESD occurs between the first metal layer and the second metal layer; and a position, where the ESD takes place, on the array substrate can be detected according to the measured resistance value between the first test site and the second test site. According to the invention, the position, where the ESD takes place, on the array substrate can be detected quickly and accurately, the operation is time-saving and labor-saving, and at the same time, the detection cost can be decreased.
