The invention discloses an alternating-current IRIG-B code generating device and method. The device comprises an MAX10-type FPGA, a reference source input circuit, an ROM circuit, an analog-digital conversion circuit and an isolation circuit. Time message data of the reference source input circuit are transmitted to PPS and UART ports of the MAX10-type FPGA. The ROM circuit is connected with WP, SCL and SDA ports of the MAX10-type FPGA. The MAX10-type FPGA takes out digital values of corresponding peak values from the ROM circuit and transmits the digital values to the analog-digital conversion circuit. After obtaining time information and second pulse signals, the MAX10-type FPGA guides the signals into the analog-digital conversion circuit. An analog-digital converter in the analog-digital conversion circuit obtains small alternating-current IRIG-B coding signals, and the analog-digital conversion circuit is connected with the isolation circuit. After the small alternating-current IRIG-B coding signals pass through an isolation transformer in the isolation circuit, modulated alternating-current IRIG-B codes are output. The alternating-current IRIG-B code generating device and method are high in output precision, the MAX10-type FPGA solution is applied, the circuit structure is simple, debugging is convenient, and stability and reliability are high.
