Full-surface coating of stents

A method for full-surface coating of the stent, the individual struts of the stent are completely or at least partially coated with a polymeric coating in a first coating step and the intermediate spaces between the individual struts of the stent and the stent struts can be covered with a polymeric layer in a second coating step, so that a continuous polymeric coating resulting on the stent, which covers the spaces between the individual struts of the stent and the stent struts throughout and wherein a projection at both ends of the stent is left after the second coating, laid around the edge of the stent and is integrated under the action of pressure and heat to the underlying layer.
